Technical Director of Mayflower

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Kirkland as the new Technical Lead for the Mayflower Team.

Gary originally joined Mayflower in 2001 as the Technical Services Manager and was one of the very first members of the team. Explaining his decision to return, Gary said ‘Mayflower have an excellent product and I am very proud of what the team is achieving. It is an exciting time for Mayflower and an important time to demonstrate that our CMS system is best in class.

One of my key challenges is to safeguard the evolution of both Mayflower’s software and hardware products to ensure we’re positioned to take advantage of the move towards Smart Cities, both in the UK and Europe.  In order for Mayflower to continue to grow, we need to sustain the development of the product ranges, as well as forming alliances with the big players in the Smart City arena’.

Gary returns after a two year spell as IT Director with energy solutions business Anesco.
